Last thread: >>11457031>>11466972 Is /hhg/ hadoukenable and shoryukenable?I bought the steam deck oled. How much of a cuck am I for doing this? I'm having second thoughts, but I can't tell if it's because I actually think it was a bad idea or if it's just because it's half a grand.>>11467006 Depends on what you plan on playing on it.>>11467006 Its not like you got a bad handheld. As far as x86 handhelds go it still has a great price to performance ratio, there's tons of community support for emulation, and you can play plenty of your step library on there.>>11466972 It should be Handhelding general.>>11466972 is smartphone emulation just a meme or is it viable? I have a galaxy s24 and if it can actually run gen 6 and below without framerate issues I might just have to hop on. what is the best clip on controller to get?>>11467034 Do you prefer clicky or rubber memebranes for dpads?>>11466972
why cuck boy as thread picture
OP a bitch>>11467034 >playing a game on your telephone>>11467006 You could do much worse. Luv me deck, simple as. >>11467034 I have emulators on my phone, but the fact that many powerful flagships don't have SD card slots pisses me off to no end.>>11467035 definitely rubber.
>>11467065 it definitely pisses me off too.. but i have about 200 gigs Im not using for anything else, so its definitely doable for some retro gayming.>>11467006 You can't go wrong with it unless you need to play those modern high-end games which sounds unlikely given where we are>slight ips bleed on my R2PS after a few days what the fuck I don't think that was there at first or I would have noticed it>>11467092 easysmx m15 or m10.>>11467006 I hate Steam as a service for ruining the PC game industry and retail sales, but the Deck is pretty fucking great. Playing a lot of games on it and it really feels worth the $400 I paid for my LCD model.>>11466495 Those days, an LED that you could power without draining the GBC batteries in 90 minutes was very weak. Of course they could have put an opaque plastic bit in front of it to diffuse the light, but the resulting light would have been super fucking weak. With these spotlights you could at least see the middle of the screen relatively well. Also the modern reading light in the example is a white LED, which were not economical until like 2012, that's why these wormlights appear purplish or pinkish.>>11467006 I like my LCD one, I would miss it if it broke or something. But I tend to go to my DS or 3DS for whatever I can run or emulate on those, because the Deck is really kinda big, even for a big guy like me. There's no way though I would spend $500 now on the OLED one, after already having bought the LCD one. Fucking gayben released the OLED like 2 months after I had bought mine. I'm still salty about that. I'm waiting for a new gen of x86 handhelds and I'll upgrade when we get something that's significantly better than the ROG Ally X.>>11466972 excuse my ignorance, but how does a computational "chipset" have support for a wireless connectivity grade?
