They even avoid strange objects that they don't recognize like video cameras. As for a skeleton, I have read that some animals will eat or perhaps utilize the bones of other animals. I still don't think that would answer your question as we find the remains of big animals every now and then. Personally, I think the most reasonable answer has to do with the fact that if these creatures exist they must be holed up deep in the American forests and mountains where people never visit. There are areas of the American wilderness that have yet to be fully navigated, at least to the public. If a highly intelligent ape that is extremely avoidant to threats exists, it must live in those secluded areas to avoid the threat of Man. We never find a skeleton because we never go deep enough in the wilderness to find them or the homes of their owners. There are videos on YouTube, both from drones and trail cams, that appear to depict something like Bigfoot. I am of the opinion that the majority of them are fake, perhaps even all of them. Most of them, the quality is so low that it is pointless to argue about their authenticity. On that note, a quality camera will be in the four or five digit range. If your camera costs $999 or less, it is probably too weak to catch anything substantial in the wild. Especially at night.
