The pictures of his art 'degrading' over the time are just abstract pieces of his lined up in order of intensity. These were found after he passed away, so there's no sure date on when they were made, let alone if they were in chronological order. He had a decline of mental health after a severe head injury, but he was never formerly diagnosed, just labeled as insane.
